How to Repair Dog Urine Stains from your Lawn
Dog urine on the lawn, what an ugly spectacle especially when you have worked on your lawn for so long. It’s work. Follow these steps but take steps to prevent it from happening otherwise you’ll be doing this all the time.
Step 1. Take out the burnt grass entirely.
Step 2. Rake out the remaining dead grass in the area.
Step 3. Grab a 5 gallon bucket or more and saturate the area in an oval pattern starting with the inside of the burnt area and in a round-oval shape outward. Really soak it. If it is still finger-dry an inch below, then do it again. If all else fails, get a hose and go at it.
Step 4. Get some nice fertile top soil and pack about 2-3 inches nice and tight over the top.
Step 5. Add some compost on top of that to one inch
Step 6. Find out what type of grass you have and buy seed to fit that type. You don’t want to mix types it will look silly and may not take right.
Step 7. Sprinkle the seen on top of the compost and water it down nicely. Pack it down good with a little more top soil and water well. Don’t drown it but water it.
Step 8. Continue to water for a few days and keep the dog clear of those areas until it has rooted and sprouted. Then work on preventive measures so that you are not going trough this.
This 1 Trick Will Make Your Dog LOVE Nail Trimming Time
This is really a two-person job but once you’ve experienced how easy it is,
you’ll never try it alone again.
Just have one person fill a Kong toy (or a little dish) with peanut butter and
hold it for the dog. The other person now has complete control of the dog’s
paws without any fight.
